Scarecrow Festival

On Friday October 17th Lynette was in town to wach Abby while Amy and Spencer worked at The Scarecrow Festival at Thanksgiving Point to raise money for the boys that they work with. SO... We got to go too! It was lots of fun, it had big bouncy slides, fun games, yummy food, a train ride, and even a toddler area for the kids to play in. Needless to say the girls and their cousins had a blast!

Amy used her magic powers and was able to get Mayli right on to this even though there was a super long line. Mayli LOVED it! I was a little nervous for her but it looks like she is going to be a thrill seeker just like her mama! She is on one of those trampoline things where you get to jump way high in the air, she had a blast.

Ok so I never do these tags but I was tagged by Amy and Natalie and this one is very simple and I thought I would do it. You have to go to your pictures file and post the 4th picture in the 4th file and describe it a little and tag 4 other people.

This is my sweet baby Tori when she is only 5 days old, wow I can't believe how time flys. I love her sweet face! I tag, Mom, Jes, Ann, and Sarah, have fun!

Grammie and Aunt Cath come to visit!

My mom and sister Catherine came to visit us the weekend that AJ was in Atlanta for school. It was so much fun, a total girls weekend!
We went to the mall (of course), went to a movie, baked TONZ of goodies, and just hung around watching girly movies and enjoying each other's company.
My girls LOVE their Aunt Catherine and were so happy that she was here. She had the idea to have the girls make spider cookies and it was lots of fun.
Amy and Abby came over while Spencer went to the BYU game and made spiders with us.
I think the kids enjoyed eating the stuff much more than making them!
We had such a fun weekend, I wish it could have been longer! Only a couple of months until we will get to go home for Christmas and see everyone, we can make it!

Tori Time!

When Mayli is at Preschool for 2 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays I get to have a little time alone with Tori. She is such a sweet girl and is learning and growing so fast. I just love this time I get with her!

This day we painted our toes! Tori loved it!
Her little toes are so cute! (Of course I painted Mayli's toes too when she got home! Mayli and I get to spend time together too when Mayli wakes up from her nap while Tori is still sleeping and I treasure this time so much too. I have the sweetest little girls!)

Gotta love that face! Most the time I have no idea what Tori is so upset about but this day I just had to laugh at that sweet little mad face.
I went to the Women's Expo a couple of weeks ago with Natalie and won a free month of dance class for Mayli! She loves it! I found this cute tutu amoung our halloween costumes and asked her if she wanted to wear it. She said yes very excitedly and ran off for her room, the next thing I know she comes out with nothing but it on! It was great, I laughed so hard that I was crying! She sure loves to dance aroud like a ballerina and loves loves loves her new tap shoes!

I love when Tori sits like this! What a sweet little girl.
When Lynette was here we all went to the Hogle Zoo. It was a really fun day with 1 grammie, 2 aunts, 1 uncle, 2 cousins and lots of animals. Mayli and Tori love the zoo and this one was really fun, all the animals are up close and easy to see. When they brought this eagle out Tori said oooo eagle!

Preschool and Park!

Mayli started preschool on Tuesday September 2nd and wore her Dora backpack too! She loves going but I am sad that she is old enough to be doing that already. She is a very smart girl though and just loves learning!
We have a very cool park around the corner from our apartment so we are trying to go as much as possible before it starts to get cold! Tori loves to swing, do you think it was a bit sunny?
Mayli loves to play at the park and there are always other kids there and she walks right up to them and says "Do you want to be my friend?" It is very cute and she just loves to have friends to play with.
